Who can apply for ethical review?
Any investigator conducting health, clinical, biomedical, public health, nutrition, behavioral or related research involving human participants may apply, subject to the Committee's approved scope.
Can I start my study after submitting?
No. Submission does not imply approval. Do not start recruitment or data collection until you hold written ethical approval.
How do I check my application status?
Sign in to the portal and open your application: the tracker shows each stage and its date.
How can someone verify my certificate?
Anyone can enter the Approval ID on the Verify Certificate page or scan the QR code on the certificate. The page queries our records in real time.
What happens if I need to change my protocol?
Submit an amendment before implementing substantive changes. An approved amendment produces a new certificate version; the original stays on record.
Who can become a member?
Individuals above 18 and institutions that support the Society's objects and meet the eligibility criteria in the Rules and Regulations. See the Membership page for categories.
Is my profile public?
No. Nothing is listed publicly unless you choose to be listed and choose which fields to show.
