BACRS is governed under its registered Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations.
- General Assembly – the supreme governing body of the Society. It approves the annual report and audited accounts, elects the Executive Committee, and decides matters referred to it.
- Executive Committee – nine members elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years. It manages the affairs of the Society, interprets the Constitution and may constitute sub-committees (for example, a Membership Sub-Committee).
- Officers – President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Social Secretary, Office Secretary and Executive Members.
- Audit and reporting – accounts are audited annually by an independent auditor, and audited accounts and the annual report are filed with the registration authority.
